Aberdeen Police held a checkpoint Friday night, alongside officers from the Pinebluff and Southern Pines police departments. The checkpoint was set up at the intersection of U.S. 15-501 and Highway 211.

The BAT-mobile was also set up at the checkpoint. The unit allows law enforcement to conduct breath alcohol and other sobriety tests, and is fully equipped with the instruments and forms necessary for a law enforcement officer to test and process a driver arrested for an impaired driving offense.

No Operator’s License -4
Failure to Carry Driver’s License-1
Open Container -3
Fictitious Registration Plate-1

Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance-1
Misdemeanor:
Simple Possession of Marijuana-4
Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia-1
Weapon Charges:
Misdemeanor:
Carrying a concealed weapon-1
