The case Moore County Sheriff’s Office was working on ended on Monday when it led them to Oak Hills Road near Westchester Circle in Pinehurst, where they confiscated 21 dosage units of suboxone.
Following his arrest, McCormick was committed to the Moore County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $20,000.
“We are committed to keeping illegal drugs out of our communities and away from our children,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a media release on Tuesday. “This arrest is another example of the hard work our deputies put in every day to make sure Moore County remains a safe place to live.”
