A two-vehicle crash at the Moore/Harnett County line sent one person to the hospital Monday afternoon. The accident happened at the intersection of McGill Road and Cypress Church Road in Cameron.
According to authorities, a FedEx truck traveling south on Cypress Road allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a Toyota Corolla traveling east into Harnett County on Cypress Church Road. The collision caused the Toyota to spin around and crash into a small group of trees off the road with heavy front-end damage.
The driver was transported to Moore Regional Hospital to be checked out with no serious injuries.
The driver of the FedEx truck was not injured and told Highway Patrol that the brakes on the truck failed and caused her to crash into the car.
Responding units were Cypress Pointe Fire Department, Moore County EMS and N.C. Highway Patrol.
