Four arrested on drug charges after detectives search house

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of four individuals following a search in the Eagle Springs area of Moore County.

On June 18, detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Possum Holler Road, said Fields in a news advisory.

As a result of the search, detectives seized suspected methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, alprazolam, amphetamine, oxycodone, diazepam, morphine, Xanax, buprenorphine hydrochloride (Subutex), suboxone, items of drug paraphernalia, and $670.

Heather Locklear, 63, of Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule III controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule IV controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Locklear was released under a $75,000 unsecured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on July 11.

Katey Lamonds, 25, of Candor, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lamonds was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $12,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on July 10.

Alan Morales, 33, of Biscoe, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Morales was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $12,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on July 11.

Pierce Norris, 38, of Eagle Springs, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Norris was committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $11,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on July 10.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
