An Aberdeen man is behind bars facing several charges, according to Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
William Zachary McMillan, 35, was arrested after an investigation took place when Moore County Sheriff’s Office received two reports last week of someone breaking into cars in Aberdeen.
McMillan was booked at the Moore County Detention Center on Wednesday, just after 2 a.m., on two counts of felony breaking and entering to a motor vehicle, one count of financial card theft, one count of felony possession of stolen goods, four counts of identity theft, two counts of felony obtaining money by false pretense, two counts of felony attempt to obtain money by false pretense, and two counts of misdemeanor larceny.
The suspect’s bond was set at $50,000.
He has a district court date on August 29 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
