Man accused of sending private videos to humiliate woman

The Aberdeen Police Department announced the arrest of Julian Crescenzo, 19, of Southern Pines.

On May 25, Aberdeen officers responded to the area of Saunders Blvd. and Midway Road, “in reference to a female being victimized by a male, who sent private videos of her to a family member.”

Officers responded to a residence, where they were advised that Crescenzo had allegedly obtained private videos of a female victim without her consent and disclosed them to a family member of hers in order to humiliate her.

“Officers began to investigate the allegations, and were able to confirm Crescenzo had wrongfully obtained the video, which was private in nature, and sent it without the victim’s consent, and against her will,” said the Aberdeen Police Department in a press release.

Officers obtained a warrant for Crescenzo on felony disclosure of private images.

Crescenzo was located in the Moore County jail, where he was served with the warrant and taken before a Moore County magistrate. He was given a $15,000 secured bond.
