“Clay” Clyde Revere Reid, III a lifelong resident of Moore County was called home to His Lord, Tuesday, December 5th at the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be held at the Aberdeen First Baptist Church, 700 N. Sandhills Blvd., Aberdeen on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at Bethesda Cemetery, Aberdeen.
Clay was born and raised in Stubby Oaks, the oldest child of Clyde Reid, Jr, and Lisa Britt Reid. He was a graduate of Pinecrest High School, class of 2014. Clay’s found great joy in riding bikes; from BMX bikes to dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. He also enjoyed skating. Clay was very family oriented; he loved his Mema and Papa.
In addition to his parents Clyde, Jr. and Lisa, he is survived by his sister Skylar Ivey Reid of Southern Pines. He was the nephew of Linda Reid Oldham (Donnie), Sondra Gail Miller (Kevin), Janice Britt, Karen Spencer, Steve Britt, Dennis Britt and Michelle Jackson. He was the grandson of Clyde Reid, Sr. and Alma Reid of Aberdeen. He is also survived by his dog Deisel.
