Clark Donald Marshall, 74, of West End, North Carolina, passed on Friday, February 9, 2024, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held 11:30 am, Friday, February 16, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Pinehurst with Pastor Jonathan Shelor officiating. Placement at Salisbury National Cemetery with military honors will be at a later date.
Mr. Marshall was born April 26, 1949 in Santa Ana, California to the late, Homer Marshall and Mildred (Shaw) Marshall. Clark served in the US Air Force from 1968 to 1972, then obtained his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from California State University at San Bernardino. Clark worked for Riverside County in California for 19 years ending his career as Administrative Manager of the Transportation Department. Clark and Karen moved to West End in 2007 after having retired.
Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife of 23 years, Karen Louise (Hull) Marshall; a son, Joshua Marshall of Palm Desert, CA; three step-children, Davin Lewis of Yucaipa, CA, Todd Pemble of Moreno Valley, CA, and Melissa Young and husband Jeffrey of Seattle, WA; a sister, Cathy Marshall of Winter Haven, FL; four step-grandchildren, Ian Lewis, Mikey Lewis, Brett Young, and Ashley Young. Clark was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Marshall.
