The restrooms in Reservoir Park are being renovated and will be temporarily closed during the project, announced the Town of Southern Pines.
Work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 27 and should be finished around May 9.
Portable toilets will be available on-site until the restrooms re-open or visit the nearest bathroom facility at Elizabeth Rounds Park at 570 Pee Dee Road.
Popular for walking, biking, fishing and boating, Reservoir Park is 165 acres in size. The main feature is a 95-acre lake in the center of the park. Other facilities include a boat ramp and docks, restrooms, picnic shelters and a spillway. Exercise stations and seating areas can be found along the trail around the lake.
