Trio arrested on drug, gun charges in West End

Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of three individuals following a search in the West End area of Moore County.

On March 22, deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Jennet Drive. During the investigation, deputies located heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, alprazolam, items of drug paraphernalia, firearms, and $41,934.

Arrested were Mark Wall, 39, Tina Martin, 39, and Hazel Monroe, 64, all from the West End area. 

Mark Wall was charged with trafficking in opium or heroin by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession of heroin, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of stolen firearm, and possession of firearm by felon. Wall received a secured bond of $10,000 and a court date of April 22.

Tina Martin was charged with trafficking in opium or heroin by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession of heroin, traffick in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Martin received a secured bond of $10,000 and a court date of April 22.

Hazel Monroe was charged with possession of stolen firearm. Monroe received a $2,500 unsecured bond and a court date of March 30.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
