There was a three vehicle accident Thursday at approximately 5 pm in Pinehurst. The accident occurred at the corner of Page Rd and Hwy 211 at the traffic light. The accident caused traffic to be rerouted for a short period of time while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. No injuries were reported. Â The first vehicle’s passenger’s side was smashed in, and the side air bag deployed. Â The second vehicle’s front bumper came off, and the whole front end was smashed in. Â The third vehicle had minor damage to the front bumper.
Responding to the accident were Pinehurst Police Department, Pinehurst Fire and Rescue, and Moore County EMS.
