Brenda Hearn Sanders, age 65, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Born on May 7, 1958, in Moore County, she was a daughter of Shirley Johnson Hearn and the late Daniel Franklin Hearn.
Brenda worked for 20 years at Pinehurst Medical Clinic as a new patient coordinator in the GI department. She loved being around her family and friends, as well as going fishing, horses, reading and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her father: Daniel Franklin Hearn.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 35 years: Darin Sanders of West End; two sons: Preston “Patrick” Lucas of Carthage and Justin Ryan Lucas and wife Katie of Carthage; twin sister: Linda Hearn Sanders and husband Ronald of Robbins; brother Michael Darrell Hearn and wife Lisa of West End; grandchildren: Zoey Lucas, Brynlee Sims, Colby Smith, and Jaxson Lucas; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the support and prayers during this difficult time. There will be a memorial service held by the family at a later date.
