Joseph Mitchell Christie, III, age 73, of Southern Pines, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Pinehurst Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Pinehurst.
Joseph was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 9, 1947 to Joseph Mitchell Christie, Jr. and Margaret Salmond Christie.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Scola Christie; stepson, Owen Martin of Virginia; brother, Charles Christie (Rebecca) of Cashiers, NC.
A private service will be held at a later date.
