Mrs. Lillian McGregor Barner, 87, of Pinehurst entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in West End, North Carolina. Arrangements are entrusted to McLeod Funeral Home of Southern Pines, North Carolina.
The viewing is at 10 a.m., and the funeral service is at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, both at Love Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 293 Dawkins St, Aberdeen.
Survivors: Her children Audrey Jarrett (Alfonso), Andrew R. Barner, Jr. (Beth), Arlean Graham, Darlean McLaughlin (Willie) Glen Barner, and Kenneth Barner (Scott Chappell); four granddaughters Nedra Massenburg, Whitney Swann, Joi McLaughlin, Glynniece Laferriere, and one grandson, Will McLaughlin and a special granddaughter Aryjana Askew; three great granddaughters Mariah, Brielle, and Lola; two great grandsons Dennis and David; her sister Ernestine Tyson (Thomas); three sisters-in-law Connie McGregor, Ellen McGregor, and Lillian (Lil) McGregor; and three brothers Philip McGregor (Agnes), George McGregor (Barbara) and Michael McGregor; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and life-long friends.
