Mr. Otis Lee Vample, 62, of Carthage, NC, died Monday, October 1, 2018, at his home.
Funeral Service: Saturday, October 6, 2018, 2:00 PM, Bear Creek Congregational Church, 183 Bear Creek Church Road, Robbins, NC, where he was a member.
Viewing: Saturday, October 6, 2018, 1-2:00 PM, at the church. Burial: New Zion Cemetery, Robbins.
Mr. Vample was a longtime member of Bear Creek Congregational Church, and he was a graduate of Sandhills Community College. He found joy in doing auto mechanic work, and was employed by Pinehurst Toyota.
Survivors: Wife, Rita Vample; children, Teona Murphy, Rakettia Bethea, Lymond Bethea, Jr., and Onika Williams; brother, Tyrone Vample (Brenda); sister, Shirley Kelly (Alex); three grandchildren; and other relatives
The family will receive friends at 276 Elizabeth Road, Carthage, NC, at Mr. Vample’s brother’s home.
