A Fort Bragg soldier was arrested after overdosing in a hot car with his stepdaughter in the backseat.

On Friday, July 28th, around 7 pm,  Jessie Andrew Davis, 25, used narcotics with two acquaintances before losing consciousness while his 4-year-old stepdaughter was in the backseat in the parking lot of Walgreens on Skibo Road, according to Fayetteville Police Department.  Before authorities arrived, Davis’ acquaintances fled the scene.  Emergency crews administered Narcan to revive Davis while rescuing his stepdaughter who was drenched in sweat with a reported 90 degree temperature outside.
