Reverend Betty Jane Matthews Lee, 86, of Carthage, NC, was led on to glory by the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 20, 2020 at St. Mary’s Holiness Church in Carthage. Burial will follow in the St. John UCG Church cemetery in Carthage.
A viewing will take place on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Reverend Betty Jane Lee is survived by her four children: Charles (Mona Lisa) Matthews of Carthage, NC, Linda Faye Lee Brower of Asheboro, NC, Johnnie Lee of Carthage, NC and James Cleatus Lee of Carthage, NC. A “special” niece Cheryl Mills (Walter) Degraffenried, Carthage, NC that assisted in all aspects of her care and well-being. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and assorted loved ones that can attest to how major of an influence Reverend Betty Jane Lee was in each of our lives!
