Joyce Ann Roach was born Jan. 16, 1937 to Frank Welch Senior and Esther Stout of Berwick Pennsylvania.
She served her country in the Women’s Army Corps. She has resided in Moore county for many years. She passed 10-30-2022.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, one great grandson DJ, her brother Wayne Welch, her niece Jessica Welch and her brother Frank Welch.
She is survive by her daughters Barbara Wheeler and Julie Roach and son Jaylin (Carthage), her grandson Danny Smith and children Brennan and Aiden (Pinehurst), her granddaughter Kerry Barfield and husband Dustin Barfield and children Saphira and Lehman Barfield (Carthage). As well as her brother John and wife Ruthie from Berwick Pennsylvania and her brother Frank’s wife Laurie Welch children Harlee Welch and her brother Wayne’s wife Vicky Welch children Kaleena Welch and Jared Welch and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Joyce was more than just a mom a grandmother or a sister. She was a genuine person, and if she said she loved you, that was for life. She had a hand in many of her nieces and nephews lives along with helping raising her grandchildren while they were younger along with all her bonus grand children and nieces and nephews She will be missed by many, but her memories live on.
