Melissa Reanee Curlee, 44 of Vass passed on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8PM on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, October 28th 2023 at the New Life Tabernacle UPC in Aberdeen with Pastor, Jonathan Scarboro officiating. Burial will follow in Ashley Heights Cemetery.
Melissa was born August 19, 1979 in Pinehurst to David Wayne Curlee and Sandra Hussey Campbell.
She is survived by her children, a daughter, Taylor Reanee Duncan Oswald and husband Tyler of Fayetteville, a son, Jeremiah Christian Duncan of Cameron, and a daughter, Savannah Reanee Meyers of Spring Lake; her father, David Wayne Curlee of Aberdeen; her mother, Sandy Hussey Campbell and husband Bruce of Vass; a brother, Christopher Curlee and wife Mandy of Swansboro, NC, a brother, Paul Curlee and wife Jessica of Carthage, a sister, Toni K. Weppelman and husband Justin of Butner, NC; a sister, Amanda Gail Campbell of Vass, and a sister, Crystal Campbell of New Jersey; her grandmother, Margaret Ozean Campbell of Aberdeen; and one granddaughter, Melani Rose Carol Duncan.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Michele Ann Peterson and her grandmother, Eavy Doris Hussey.
