A police pursuit ended in a foot chase, with the suspect arrested Tuesday evening.
Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Department attempted to stop a vehicle for failing to display a registration plate. The Montgomery County driver fled the scene on Bensalem Church Road outside of Robbins.
“Deputies pursued the vehicle for a short period of time until the driver turned on to a dead-end road and then into a wooded area where his truck became stuck,” said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a news statement. “The driver attempted to flee on foot from the scene and Deputies gave chase. After a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody without further incident.”
