Robbins Police Department made 22 arrests in May, averaging in the twenties for the past several months. Twelve of the 22 arrests involved drug charges, with the majority being from traffic stops.
Week 1: May 1 — 7. Seven arrests were made.
Pedro Ugarte — DWLR (driving while license revoked).
Dalton Craven — DWLR, possession of schedule VI, possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
James Morgan — larceny.
Jose Gomez — DWI, DWLR.
Jacob Sanders — possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and expired license.
Alton Maze — possession schedule II, drug paraphernalia, expired tags, fake tag, and suspended license.
Ashley Morgan — warrant served, resisting a public officer.
Week 2: May 8 — 14. Five arrests were made.
Teyanna Ingram — suspended license, possession of cocaine, intent to sell and deliver schedule II, maintain vehicle/dwelling place with controlled substance, possession schedule II, aid and abetting driver while license revoked, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule II, and DWLR.
Dusty Wessel — larceny and possession of stolen goods.
On May 12, law enforcement officers arrested the following three people from out of county after stopping them for not having rear lamps on vehicle:
Duke Ellis III — no operator license, giving fake name, fake tag, no insurance, failure to notify DMV of address change, no head lamps, no rear lamps, expired registration, and no registration.
Harley Austin — Identity theft, possession of cocaine, possession of schedule II, maintaining a vehicle with controlled substance, resisting public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to .5 oz, marijuana paraphernalia, allowing unlicensed person to drive, permit a vehicle with no insurance, open container, and warrant.
Brandon Bryantt — possession of marijuana up to .5 oz., marijuana paraphernalia, concealed gun, failure to wear a rear seat belt, and open container.
Week 3: May 15 — 21. Six arrests were made.
Jose Palomino-Paredez — possession of methamphetamine, DWLR, open container, drug paraphernalia, covering/hiding license plate, simple possession schedule VI, possession of marijuana up to 0.5 oz., marijuana paraphernalia, and two warrants for arrest.
Following a larceny situation, the police pulled over the following two individuals from Carthage:
Robert Heel — possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, DWLR, and aiding and abetting larceny.
Tiffany Gonzoles — larceny, possession of stolen goods, drug paraphernalia, aiding and abetting person, and DWLR.
On May 16, a call came in for two suspicious people. After speaking to both people, officers learned Eduardo Hernandez was on probation and open for search without cause. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.
Jaime Lopez — possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule VI, maintaining a vehicle with controlled substance, DWLR, possession of marijuana up to 0.5 oz., possession of marijuana paraphernalia, littering less than 15 pounds and simple possession of scheduled III.
On May 18, a caller reported a car hitting a ditch and being in a culvert on East Valley St. Officers noticed that Rey Rivera-Alejo smelled like alcohol, and he was charged with DWI, no operator’s license, failing to report the accident, texting while driving, and failing to maintain lane control.
Week 4: May 22 — 30: Four arrests were made.
Victor Barrett — simple possession of scheduled VI, window tent, expired registration, and marijuana paraphernalia.
Anthony Gonzalez — possession of marijuana up to 0.50 oz., marijuana paraphernalia, and DWLR.
On May 30, officers spotted Terry Williams at Dollar General who is banned from the store. Williams received charges for second- degree trespassing and a probation violation warrant.
On May 30, Chief Ben Haddock was riding in town when he noticed a man in the middle of the road who appeared upset.
“I come up behind him to see what was wrong, and he bolts into the woods,” said Haddock. “After the investigation, the car he was in pulled back up and explained the situation.”
As a result, Walker Singletary was arrested on charges of assault on a female, crime with domestic violence, possession of cocaine, possession schedule II (fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting a public officer.
The Robbins Police Department provided all information. Defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
