A T-bone accident sent three people to the hospital Sunday morning.
The accident occurred just before noon on Highway 15-501 in Carthage in front of Cooper Ford. A Lexus heading north appeared to be turning into Cooper Ford from the turning lane when it was hit in the passenger side by a Nissan. Both vehicles had heavy damage.
The driver was the only occupant of the Lexus and was taken to Moore Regional Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
The driver and passenger on the Nissan were both taken by ambulance to Moore Regional Hospital, and their condition is unknown, but they are believed to be OK.
The southbound lane of Highway15-501 was closed as Carthage Police investigated the accident, and Carthage Fire and Rescue cleared the debris from the road.
