Harold Thompson, 76, of Pinehurst, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2022 surrounded by family. He is proceeded in death by parents Marcus and Ruby Thompson of Raeford and daughter Heather Thompson McClendon of Raeford. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Elaine Thompson of Pinehurst; daughters Tiffani Sheppard of West End, and Alyssa Keith of Whispering Pines. He is also survived by his sister, Doris Smith of Waynesville and by grandchildren Ashley & Harper Sheppard, Baker Keith and Harley and Kylie McClendon.
For those that knew Harold, you could always find him at church, anywhere there were fast cars, playing the drums or in the garage working on something. He loved spending time with his family and watching NASCAR on Sunday.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Boles Funeral home in Southern Pines.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to First Health Hospice and Palliative Care.
