Robert Edward “Bobby” Wadsworth, 69, of Aberdeen, NC passed away peacefully at on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Accordius Health in Aberdeen.
Bobby was born November 23, 1952 in Lumberton, NC one of five children to the late Charles and Edith Dunlop Wadsworth.
Bobby lived most of his life in Moore County. He worked as a Conductor for CSX – Railroad Company for 42 years. One of his greatest joys was boating and being on the water. He was a member of Yates-Thagard Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Wanda Wadsworth; children Bart Cooper, Brad Cooper, Jeff Cooper, Jeremy Wadsworth and Angie Wadsworth; 13 grandchildren, and his siblings Judy (Farrell), Tommy (Judy) and Jane (Henry).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00PM at Bethesda Cemetery, 1006 Bethesda Rd. Aberdeen, NC 28315 with the Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.
