Aberdeen T-bone crash ends in culvert

A T-bone crash occurred in Aberdeen on Monday, resulting in the cars ending up in a culvert. The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Saunders Boulevard and Midway Road.

A Chevrolet Traverse was traveling south on Saunders Boulevard when a Toyota Corolla turned from Midway Road. The Traverse struck the Corolla on the driver’s side, and both vehicles ended up in the culvert on the opposite side of the road.

The driver of the Corolla was taken to Moore Regional Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Responding to the crash were the Aberdeen Police Department, the Aberdeen Fire Department, Moore County EMS, and the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
