Carthage Fire and Rescue Department announced on its Facebook page that they responded to a vehicle fire on Thursday, March 17.
The fire occurred in the 1200 block of Vass-Carthage Road just after 7:30 a.m., according to Carthage Fire and Rescue.
“First unit arrived on scene to find a single vehicle off the roadway with heavy fire visible,” said the fire department. “The crew was able to extinguish the fire within minutes.”
It’s unclear at this time why the vehicle caught on fire.
