Lorene Wallace Moore of Robbins died on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the age of 79.
Lorene was born October 1, 1939, to the late Millard and Eula Wallace. She was a lifetime resident of Robbins and will be fondly remembered for her many years as a hairdresser at Lorene’s Beauty Shop. Lorene was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Acorn Ridge Baptist Church.
Lorene is survived by her husband, Marvin Moore of the home, son Scott Prewitt of Robbins, grandson Brock Sloan and wife Emily of Sanford, granddaughter Farrah Prewitt of Robbins, great grandchildren Leo and Finley Sloan, brother Billy Wallace and wife Minnie of Robbins, sisters Sandra Williams and husband Jerry of Pinehurst and Phyllis Andrew of Seagrove, her loving nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephew.
Surviving stepchildren are Sherry Kennedy and husband Nicky of Robbins, Cynthia Forbes of Robbins, Jeffrey Moore of Cary and Peggy Cassidy of Asheboro. Surviving step grandchildren are Jessica Forbes of Robbins, and Meziah, Melita and Naomie Spencer of Asheboro.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents Millard and Eula Wallace, her beloved daughter Beverly Prewitt Sloan, her sister Thelma Jean Wallace and brother Paul Wallace.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Kennedy Funeral Home at 241 N Middleton Street in Robbins. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church in Robbins.
