Repeat offender facing heroin charges

A Robbins man with a criminal history was arrested Friday and faces several drug charges in Moore County district court next week.

In a news advisory, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced Nathanial Rush, 27, was jailed under a $100,000 secured bond at the Moore County Detention Center.

“Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nathanial Lynn Rush on outstanding drug warrants,” said Fields. “During the arrest, Deputies found Nathanial Lynn Rush to be in possession of heroin and items of drug paraphernalia.”

The suspect was charged with possession with intent sell and deliver schedule III controlled substance, sell schedule III controlled substance, deliver schedule III controlled substance, conspire to sell schedule III controlled substance, conspire to deliver schedule III controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, felony possession of heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sandhills Sentinel reported Rush was arrested last March and July on drug charges at the conclusion of drug investigations.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
