A three-vehicle wreck left five people injured on Friday. The crash occurred in Cameron on Highway 24/27 at the Moore and Harnett County line at 2 p.m.
On its Facebook page, Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue said its department, along with Benhaven Fire Department, Moore and Harnett EMS, Harnett County Sheriff’s Office, and N.C. Highway Patrol responded to the crash site.
Cypress Pointe added that crews had to remove the doors of one vehicle to access a patient.
Cypress Pointe called it a “serious wreck” at N.C. 24/27 and Line Road.
One vehicle remained on the road while two ended up off the road.
The fire department did not state what led up to the collision.
