Frank Joseph Nardelli, age 94 of Pinehurst, NC peacefully passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst surrounded by his family.
Frank was born on July 17, 1925 in Waterbury, CT to the late Mark Nardelli and Edith Battiste Nardelli. During his life in Pinehurst, he was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Pinehurst and a member of the Tin Whistles. When Frank lived in Watertown, CT he was a member of St. John the Evangelist and a member and past president of the Watertown Golf Club. He was an avid golfer who had 4 hole in ones. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy O’Connell and husband Thomas of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; his son, Frank J. Nardelli Jr. and wife Debra of Wolcott, CT; his grandchildren, Joseph R. Nardelli and his wife Jill of Wolcott, CT and Adrienne Brevetti and husband Frank of Watertown, CT and 4 great-grandchildren Olivia, Natalia, Frankie and Joey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in 2009, Shirley Ann Nardelli; his brother Gaetano Nardelli; and his sister, Mary Nardelli Pace.
Frank’s family would like to give a special thank you to John and Maxine Melick, Frank’s dearest friends and caretakers, who he loved like family.
