A house outside of West End was destroyed by a fire on New Year’s Eve. The call came into 9-1-1 just before 8 p.m.
First responders arrived to flames showing on several sides of the house located in the 100 block of Pinewood Drive. Units from nearby stations were called in to help battle the blaze.
According to fire officials on the scene, no one was in the house at the time of the fire, and it appears the house is unoccupied.
An investigation into what caused the fire is ongoing.
