Randy George “Babe” Maness, age 61, of Troy, NC and formerly of Robbins, NC , died Saturday at his home.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late George and Marie Willis Maness.
He was a graduate of the North Moore High School Class of 1977 and on the football team. Randy worked for Robbins Police Department and Moore County Sheriff’s Department. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a first cousin Elizabeth “Libby” Mantle of Carthage and other cousins Terrea Phillips of Troy and Bunny Garner and family of Robbins.
A graveside service will be held by friends and family at Pine Rest Cemetery on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
